Oscar Miniet

Oscar Miniet is the President & CEO of NEA Insurance Group and the Regional Executive Vice President of Renaissance Alliance. As the President & CEO of NEA Insurance, Oscar has led and grown the agency with his unique perspectives on scaling the business through deliberate collaboration. At Renaissance, Oscar provides senior leadership and strategy to this Southeast Division, a newly established division of the nation’s premier independent insurance agency membership organization. He also works closely with the Alliance’s Northeast executive team in building out the region’s operational infrastructure and technology.

Leveraging nearly three decades of experience in the Florida insurance industry, Oscar is responsible for growing the Alliance’s regional agency membership, expanding the roster of partner insurers and hiring member service and support staff. His experience and expertise from an agency perspective provide a backdrop upon which he is positioned to accelerate growth and income for other independent agencies.

Oscar brings extensive experience in operating and growing agencies in Florida’s independent insurance agency distribution system. Previously, he held executive roles at Brown & Brown Insurance, HBA Insurance Group and AmerInsurance. He began his career as President of Prime Insurance Associates, established by Aetna Healthcare’s Property & Casualty Division.

In addition to his executive leadership and operational expertise, Oscar has overseen agency mergers and acquisitions and has been a pioneer in adapting and furthering agency technology and workflow systems.
